Of course Rask scores after the color commentator roasted how bad he’s been since being traded lol

Goal wasn’t his fault, but Boedker’s effort was terrible there

Can't really blame Anderson on that one. Not much you can do when the shooter has all the time in the world five feet from you.

Ryan has been pretty decent this season (for his standards) I would try him on there for more than a game to see if they can get some chemistry going with Tkachuk. That would be a difficult line to play against in the offensive zone with two big bodies like that.
Looks like DJ Smith listened to you. He's giving them a shot here in the 3rd period.

Is Capuano on the PP, or Payne?

Also: regardless, it's not like we're giving either guy a ton to work with
The coach probably forgot to tell the players the most important step of the PP which is: Do not give the puck to the other team. Classic rookie mistake!

How long until they put Sabourin in front of the goalie as a net front presence?

Ennis is fine for the fourth line, he has speed and is not a liability on the ice, however, any offense tends to die on his stick.

It's crazy how much injuries can de-rail a career.

Dude was a regular 20-goal guy in Buffalo. Then he got two pretty awful concussions within a month (one in Nov, another in Dec) in 2015, and bam - dude was basically never the same ever again.

Sprinkle in a nagging groin injury that shows up when you least expect it, and you get present-day Tyler Ennis: a guy who never really recovered from getting his eggs scrambled, and has spent the better part of 3-4 years trying to re-invent himself as a depth player after having spent his career as a legit 2nd line offensive winger.

Very frustrating game this afternoon. We were in it all the way to the end, really no excuses for not being able to score at least one powerplay goal.
