Remember when we had one-timer option to EK, Alfie,Hoffman and TurretWatching the Powerplay this year really makes me miss the days of the Bonk-Hossa-Havlat-Alfie umbrella PP that Martin implemented.
Thanks to BoedkerCan't really blame Anderson on that one. Not much you can do when the shooter has all the time in the world five feet from you.
I dont think Ennis is an NHL player
Neither is Boedker
Looks like DJ Smith listened to you. He's giving them a shot here in the 3rd period.Ryan has been pretty decent this season (for his standards) I would try him on there for more than a game to see if they can get some chemistry going with Tkachuk. That would be a difficult line to play against in the offensive zone with two big bodies like that.
The coach probably forgot to tell the players the most important step of the PP which is: Do not give the puck to the other team. Classic rookie mistake! Is Capuano on the PP, or Payne?
Also: regardless, it's not like we're giving either guy a ton to work with
They were together just before Ennis was moved to that line a couple games back.Looks like DJ Smith listened to you. He's giving them a shot here in the 3rd period.
I really don't like Ryan on that top line. He's just too slow. But what else can DJ do? Connor Brown, Ryan, Ennis, not a lot of great options there. They were together just before Ennis was moved to that line a couple games back.
Ennis is fine for the fourth line, he has speed and is not a liability on the ice, however, any offense tends to die on his stick.
