The amount of bitter tears being shed on the main boards would flood the ice faster than Shawn Thorton wielding a water bottle the size of the Prudential building. 2011 had the Ference Fickle Finger of Fate, and 2014 has Watergate. Bodes well for us when Habs fans panties get wadded up over nothing.

We all knew it... Habs just can't keep up 5 on 5.

The Canadiens have not scored an even-strength goal on Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask in nearly 150 minutes of play (147:27), a streak that is still running heading into Game 6.

Back to Montreal and follow the bouncing puck, their ****** ice really favours their ****** inferior team. Boston isn't known for great ice but at least the puck isn't bouncing every rush up the ice.

Similar story to 2011, Habs relied heavily on the PP as the series went on and did not threaten much at even strength.

That poster CarlWinslow literally had a mental breakdown in '11... I worry about his health; there is not one thread on the mainboards relating to the Bruins that doesn't feature his delusional rants.

Between him and Makaveli, the Bruins really messed some people up that year.

So why weren't the Wings fined for throwing a stick on the ice during our series with them? That has to be more dangerous than a little water, no?

If I remember correctly in 2011 they won game 6 in Montreal 2-0 and both goals were on 2 man advantages.

Their last 2 even strength goals in this series in game 3 were on clean breakaways. It's either a powerplay goal or a colossal screw up by our defense, it's the only way they score.

If you had to root for the Canucks and live next to Urkle, you'd lose your gourd every couple of years too.:naughty:

I think that teams that rely on PPs to win end up wearing down compared to the teams that rely on 5 on 5 play.

There were several times in the third where the Habs looked tired from chasing the puck and getting hit all night.

Therrien also has no answer for the Yeti line.

I'll give $1000 to the charity of Thort's choice if he brings a supersoaker on the ice during pregame warmup and threatens PK with it.

I say the marketing department at the TD MUST get together 17,000+ water bottles, available for 1 to 2 bucks as you enter the TD for remaining home games, nice pic of PK getting hammered by that typhoon of water ST sprayed him with on the side:)

You're right. And it's that pathetic style that Montreal has to play to keep up. Brutal brand of hockey and I don't get how people enjoy that gameplay.
