someone pointed out that maybe one reason Vegas has gotten off to a good start is that expansion teams are full of players who feel they have something to prove, since they weren't protected by their former teams. And we are playing three former Bruins tonight.

In before Subban shuts the Bruins out in the 1st period, and the Bruins forum goes crazy saying the Bruins should have given him more chances etc. etc. Probably some Subban is playing better than Rask comments etc. etc.
Subban shows his true colours and lets in another 6 pack like last night.

Pasta with the trick.

6-1 final.

Bergy still out?
Most likely. No need to rush him when the next game after tonight is on Thursday.

With Bergeron out again with an undisclosed lower-body injury, the odds point to the veteran center not being in the lineup Sunday for the trip wrap in Las Vegas.
“I don’t want to rule him out, because to me, if he’s ready, he’s going in,” said Cassidy. “He’d still have three days to rest till the next one [Thursday night at TD Garden vs. Vancouver]. But it’s not my call. At the end of the day, it’s between him and the training staff.”
Ideally, stressed Cassidy, an injured player would have the benefit of at last one day’s full practice before returning to the lineup. With the game in Vegas on Sunday not allowing a full skate, Bergeron would not have that benefit.

didn't hurt the nhl scheduled easy teams to start the year so new vegas fans don't get immediately discouraged

Fingers crossed it's a massive 10-0 blowout. Vegas isn't a good team but they are a good story. The team is essentially Neal without Fleury.

Crush them.

Interesting twist with Subban starting.

The Game

The Vegas Golden Knights will be without starting goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury when they face the Boston Bruins at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday.
Fleury was placed on injured reserve after sustaining a concussion in a 6-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday. He played in each of the Golden Knights' first four games, going 3-1-0 with a 2.48 goals-against average and .925 save percentage.
Forward Jonathan Marchessault was also placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
Rookie Malcolm Subban, claimed on waivers by the Golden Knights from the Bruins on Oct. 5, is expected to start against his former team. Vegas recalled goalie Maxime Legace and forward Alex Tuch from Chicago of the American Hockey League on Sunday.
Center Vadim Shipachyov, who signed a two-year contract with Vegas on May 4, is expected to make his NHL debut for Vegas in place of center Erik Haula, who will miss at least a week because of a lower-body injury.
The Bruins, who won 6-2 at the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday, are again expected to play without center Patrice Bergeron. He has yet to dress for a game this season because of a lower-body injury.
Players to watch

Bruins forward Brad Marchand has scored a goal in three of four games this season and has two points in each of his past two games.
Golden Knights forward James Neal has scored in each game this season and is tied for second in the League with six goals. It took Neal 14 games to reach six goals last season.

"That's obviously a big, big win for us. Everybody contributed to it. Obviously, we know that our job as veterans is to pull the good share of the load. We got that and obviously the younger group of players stepped up as well. You need that." -- Bruins captain Zdeno Chara after a 6-2 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday
"The guys were in good spirits. There's no need for me to be barking at them. We're focusing on Sunday."-- Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant following their first loss of the season
