It's crazy we are still close to disaster with this road trip.

If we only get 7 or 8 points on this nine game road trip, we are in trouble with making the playoffs. We could still make it but we would be making the last twenty five games of the season very nerve wracking.

According to Sportsclubstats odds the chances of getting in only start around 90% if the Knights go 18-13-3 from here on out.

Like I said last game. Lots of persistent mistakes and game preparation flaws that need to be addressed right now. There's no more time for passive approaches. This team has what it takes to be competitive but they're just not doing it right now.

The number one goal is to not let in 3+ goals this game. 5 games in a row they let in 3 or more goals.

5-4 win against the Flyers where they almost squandered a 3 goal lead
5-4 win against the Blues where they were once down 3-0.
4-3 loss against the Pens where they were again once down by 3-0.
5-2 loss against the Kings where you guess it, they were once down by 3-0.
3-0 loss against the Jackets.

This team has been playing some lazy shitty hockey the last 5 games. If nothing changes, then this road trip will be a disaster.

This team should be better than it is playing. But even the greatest teams will look like shit if they don't play hard or put any effort into trying to win the game.

Lets see what happens tonight.

Play the same way and give up another 2 or 3 goal deficit, then my expectations for this team will start being to miss the playoffs.

You just cannot play this way this far into the season and expect a playoff spot.
