Hate Brodeur but he’s a legend. Also, I find the 15-20 shot games harder than the 25-30 shot games. So I don’t think Brodeur was a product of the Devils trap.

I actually explained this to my son tonight, hard to stay focused with much less workload, but in the NHL, especially with those Devils teams - no one got near Brodeur and stuff got kept outside. I do believe he's up there in all-time, but he definitely benefitted from the trap.

Personally, late in the game, I'd rather be winning 1-0 being outshot 40-10, than winning 1-0 and outshooting 40-10. Yeah I'm a goalie by trade, yeah I'm a little "off" lol
