The Bruins reach the halfway point of the season tonight with their 41st game … They will have played 19 games on home ice and 22 on the road.

BOSTON vs EDMONTON, LIFETIME SERIES

The Bruins and Oilers are meeting for the 72nd time in their histories with the Bruins having a 45-17-6-3 record and 263-201 scoring edge in those games.

Agreed I was supposed to be driving north today for a ski trip but I'm staying back and will meet my buddies up there tomorrow. Excited to see McDavid.

Pretty excited for tonight. I think it'll be entertaining. Bs better score more than a goal or two or they will have a tough time winning. Edm has a lot of players who can put the puck in the net.

If a player wearing a Bruins uniform cannot be inspired and prepared to give all tonight I don't know what will.

Don't deny Mr. Schmidt an opportunity to smile upon you. The Boston Bruins organization you are so fortunate to be part off was made possible through his efforts on and off the ice. Show him want that means to all of us through your inspired play when you take to the ice tonight. Fans will assuredly do their part. He deserves that honour and respect.

With heavy heart, Let's Go Bruins.
