The team should be very proud of the road trip and there's no doubt in my mind or nor should there be in there's that they were 4 + 0 regardless of what the standings say

Yup wasnt worth staying up for. 4 games in and I'm tired of seeing guys like Backes/Ritchie drag the 3rd line down. Funny how good Heinen/Coyle looked with a skilled player (Pasta) playing with them for a shift.

First disallowed goal was a joke. I've seen far more contact not get called before. Another day in the NHL though.... no consistency

Refs deflated the game for me. NHL ruining the game. Offsides was never a problem before. Reviewing offsides is not what the challenge was for. Shit call on the interference.

If they can't get it right on the ice it shouldn't be reviewable. It's so ticky tack and literally NO ONE wants it. The league, much like nesn and the td garden, is tone deaf.

One day a two minute dominant shift will result in a goal voided by a millimeter challenge.

I hope McDavid scores that goal so these former players and backwards thinkers can pull another reactionary rule change and finally implement a time limit, or common sense limit. Better yet, remove coaches challenges because they are all awful.

the issue is that the masses in 2019 and beyond will never be able to deal with seeing refs make blatant mistakes and having zero opportunity to overturn in games. Especially big games.

I officially hate the NHL and how the game is played and officiated today,

Just disgusting how poor the officiating is.

Very entertaining game. Both teams played well. We lost our legs a little in the 3rd, but I have no issues with the effort from the boys tonight.

Couple of overturned goals hurt, but whatever....we weren’t going 82-0 anyway.

Overall, a great road trip.

This is why all challenges must come from the LEAGUE and not the coaches. If it is egregious the league makes the call.

Otherwise it is the same human error we see in every sport.

The modern NHL is marketing speed and skill.

These reviews over minutia are counter-productive,and they rob all the excitement from scoring a goal, since you have to wait to see if it counts.

I would change the rule about the puck being in the last zone it was in. Make it where once the puck touches the blue line, it's in the offensive zone.

Lol god I hope that’s not the bar for interference this year or it’ll break records for goals called back.

Boston played well enough to win. Would like to see them get more bodies in front of goalies who are having hot nights but that seems to be a thing they dislike doing for years now.

Throw out two brain dead plays that caused goals against and they might have won this one running away.

I guess my point is when that play happens against bruins they will let it go. That’s my biggest problem with all of it... video replay doesn’t change anything it adds more controversy because it’s not consistent.
