Something tells me he'd be a lot more positive if he was playing with Jeff Skinner rather than Scott Wilson or Benoit Pouliot.
Fair enough. Can't argue with that. I just don't see it as a guarantee that "we're improved but we would be even better with ROR in there". Hockey is weird and there were definitely some off-ice things factoring into the trade.

Anyway, back to Berglund. The big Swedish lad makes teammates giggle and gives great timeout hugs. 60 playoff games has to carry some weight with such a young team as long as he continues to not suck. He's an Absolut Unit :D

Larsson back and on the wing, yuck. Remi out.

I’m not really sure where else he fits in the lineup at this point, unless Mitts gets sent to the Amerks for a bit. Rodriguez has been terrific and should go nowhere.

That entire 3rd line is pretty weird, though.

I thought he Stood out on the PK...
I asked about his PKing ability on the main board after the waiver pickup, and Stars fans said he wasn’t really used in PK situations for some reason. He sounded like the prototypical effective PKer when hearing about his game, and I thought he stood out as well.

But with that said, he’s a waiver pickup and a depth player; not expected to play every game.

Elie was obviously gonna be the first guy out unless a kid were demoted. He is a 13th forward type. It is positive that Phil is willing to make this minor change after two wins rather than foolishly thinking he has to keep a good thing going.
