There was no reason in the world for Werenski to try a blind backhand pass.
Occurring too often unfortunately.Korpi played too good a game to lose,
I’d argue it’s on Jenner just as much. For no reason he jumped the opening FO, got himself tossed and it set the tone for the entire period. The loss is on him.
Or don’t pass it at all (since he had nobody available). The pressuring Capital skated past him and Werenski needed to stop and reset as the other 2 Jackets were in way too deep.God I just want to punch Werenski in the face when he's passive like that....pass that puck with authority, Zach!
Well, outside the goal the Jackets didn’t sniff any offense the other 60+ minutesNothing to be ashamed of there.
A winnable game, and a wasted effort for Korpisalo's amazing game..... because they're too f@#$ing lazy in OT.
Bad play by Kukan = 1st Caps goal
Lazy play by Z = PP for the Caps, which gives them the winner.
I'm pissed. Yeah, they got a point, but it should have been two.
I was also surprised to not see Tex, especially over Gerbe.can't understand Tort strategy on OT. Lots of nice plays by Texier, who could have helped in OT.
