One play he held up when Pacioretty was wide open breaking in the middle of the ice then fanned on his shot but it went to Stastny who passed it back to him and then his weak shot was blocked all the way back to our own end of the ice. Three bad plays in a row.
He's definitely still the center also, which is good.

I really thought this would go to a shootout.
It was heading that way until the penalty.
Crap, sorry folks. I had to step away to tend to my little Gingers. Well that was a pretty productive trip through New York/Jersey.
Good road trip, we haven't played well all season and are still only two games off first place in the Pacific after 31 games.
We'll get defensive help at some point later in the season and I think the Oilers and Coyotes are catchable. Once you get to the playoffs, you can catch fire and win some rounds.
We very much need to focus on developing our prospects though, in a season or two we are going to need a good few of them to replace some of these players to continue.

I did my part. We got a point out of it. But it’s hard to get the 2 points without help from Hangman and the cats.

Is the the best game Subban played this season? It could have easily been a blowout and as annoyed as I am with the OT loss (I’m always annoyed after an OT loss though), I’m really surprised this even went to OT.
