Its ok. We didnt play well. Kinkaid was solid and Fox made a great play and Zibanejad made a great play late. We were so much better in last night.

Neither has Howden for 3 years but here we are.

21 is a checking line player, though, while 13 is a scoring line player. If 13 can’t at least generate chances against the second or third pairing defensemen, why should we expect him to generate against the first? 24 definitely deserves more ice time. I’m struggling to advocate the same for 13.

I know everyone is getting frustrated with KK, but his defensive game has been impressive this season. Out there with under 4 minutes to go and he broke up 2 big plays in the NZ. Last season, I dreaded his line because he would always get lost and hemmed in his own end. His positioning is coming together, the offense will follow soon
