Anton khudobin is getting the start, according the canes board.

Well, looks like we're 0-3 fellas. Shutout likely.

I'm torn, I have both of the Staals but also have Vinny on my roster. I need one of those three to either score the game winning goal or combine for 12+ hits in order to throw a hail mary and win my matchup.

So apparently Gus is in for Mez and Newbury is in.

And now I guess Mez is also in warmups?

Without a morning skate, likely done to get all the players skating. With back-to-back games and a losing streak, plus a game less than 24 hours from last night, it is a prime opportunity to make a change or two.

Newbury will play instead of Rosehill. Game starts at 5 vs. Canes. #Flyers

Erik Gustafsson taking warmups in place of Andrej Meszaros (Dave Isaac).

But now...

Mez and Grossmann together in drills. Gus may sit, after all. Flyers could use his skating and puck-moving, but he had a poor camp.

:help:

How about

now heres a crazy idea

we get a call up who actually has ****ing hands (Akeson, mcginn, that euro guy), put him on the 3rd, drop rosehill and newbury, and rock talbot - hall - rinaldo on the 4th

no sorry that makes too much god damn sense to put coots with two sniper type players ( read and mystery man x)

I'm curious to see that Schenn-Couts-Zac line. Sounds like a fun combo... I have a soft spot for Rinaldo though :)

Why is that bad? Rinaldo has been playing A LOT better than Talbot so far. Schenn can provide some offense with Coots.

Because Rinaldo is good at what he does, stirring the pot and hitting, but he's not someone who can produce offensively. Especially when putting him with two young players who are struggling to live up to their offensive potential.

Well just because he can hit better doesnt mean he can produce ANY offense.

I agree that Talbot has struggled mightly on the 3rd line. Shouldnt expect it differently with Rinaldo though.
