This team is so ****ing bad, slow, washed up. Can't believe I watched the whole game. ZzzZzzzZz.

Also kind of pathetic to blame the schedule like Babcock does

At least the effort level was there. But our forwards lack of size is getting apparent, Dallas kept us pretty well outside. Not that Dalls has stud D corps. Something needs to be done with Cleary and Quincey.

This isn't going to make anybody feel better, but the Dallas Stars have basically had the last few years where they had a fairly talented forward group in the top 6 and a defense unit that lacked any poise whatsoever.

The net result is playoff bubble team, at best. That's even with Kari Lehtonen being as good as he is.

I genuinely expected Smith and Quincey to be better. If their play doesn't pick up, we're in trouble.

How do you figure that is pathetic? Detroit, and the rest of the league, had 5 days of training camp to get ready for an NHL season, which lead to a rash of injuries that left this team depleted, especially on defense. Now we have a non-lockout created injury with White and we are ****. Plus they play 3 games in 4 nights, the first two being on the road which leaves zero time to practice, specifically on the power play.

Is the schedule and the quick start all to blame? No, this isn't a great team, but its not a horrible team like you want to make them out to be.

Dallas also played their 3rd game in 4 nights but had a lot more jump and was better in every facet of the game.

Detroit is just too old to play good in the 3rd game in 4 nights or on the 2nd game of a back to back
