Since the Yandle-Jovo days, teams have played their PK high against the Coyotes D. It literally never changes, and only the most incompetent teams do anything else. We've had several sets of coaches who can't seem to figure this out, and it results in having a pathetic PP.

Weak, making the Islanders look like a decent team.

Islanders are probably a playoff team. Not a fluff opponent.

Well that was only the 7th period of the Coyotes season and it really showed.

Lackluster at best, and when the team started to get a little something going, an individual mistake and a total brain cramp handed the end of the period to the Islanders.

I guess it can only get better from there...

Clueless on the PP. Absolutely clueless.
Somebody go over the new faceoff rules with Vermette.
Did Robeiro make this road trip ? Invisible out there.

That's an oxymoron. There's just nothing promising or exciting about the guy. The best he can be is 'tolerable'. He's the epitome of mediocrity. Fact: when the French ask for a loaf of bread that's neither too soft nor too crunchy, they ask for 'un Vermette'.
