This team is going no where with Kopitar not creating offense.

Right now it's a one line team(the second line).

Defense was just terrible today.

Kopitar has picked up were he left off from the playoff's, takes what the D gives him.

The First line has generated ZERO offense 5 on 5. That is a bigger issue.

Going back to the playoff's they have generated less than 15 points in 28 games at even strength.

That is a serious problem.

I'm not really worried yet. This happens. We start slow. What concerns me is brutal goal that make the one Toskala let in look like it was from a Chara slapper taken at the top of the circles.

It is a bigger issue but that's a short-term issue. I have trust in them. They are our stars. The bottom 6 are on a short leash. That's the difference...at least to me. I believe our top line can only get better with a better supporting cast.
