Hawks have lost 5 in a row...................we should win, which probably means a loss..........

Would be nice to see them, keep their win streak alive, but ya never know. The Hawks are at the bottom of the Western Conf wow....
Chicago's core has nothing left to prove. They've been there and done that... three frikkin times! Aside from Keith their stars aren't even old or declining; they're probably just suffering from mental fatigue and letdown. Ken Dryden described the same effect with the Habs in the late 70s in his book, The Game. After their third straight Cup, Montreal lost the fire and was going through the motions. They still managed a fourth Cup, mostly because the league was so much more unbalanced than today. But then as now, too much success for too long breeds complacency.

Agreed..............it would be nice to get 3 Cups, and then have this happen to a team.............they have been a great franchise now for 10 years during a salary cap era!! Interesting if they try to rebuild/retool/reset and deal older vets like Kane/Toews?

Let’s not take this lightly....Habs can easily blow this

Hawks will try to end their losing streak at home, playing a Sunday road game and facing Hab Killer Crawford , I will be pleasantly surprised if we manage to win this one.

Bowman didn't help this situation with some of his moves though, that's for sure. But yeah I agree, just look at the Pens too.

Bowman could easily become the next candidate for worst GM in the league. He walked into the job with almost nothing to do but watch a ready-made roster become a contender. Made the right minor moves after 2010's Cup, but did very little after that. Best you can say is he was a good placeholder while Kane/Toews/Keith were in their prime.
