Was another good period for Laval. Brook with the nice defensive play without a stick as it broke taking a shot but he stood up his man or else it would have been a possible 3 on 1. Ylonen just missed getting another goal in the 2nd, I will it have in my vid that i'll post after the game. RHP with a nice toe drag for an almost goal as well.

They got lucky on the call for the Weal goal but if it didn't count they still would have had a long 5 on 3 PP.

I know some in the draft threads last year were pushing for us to draft Sokolov, I wasn't for it due to him being so slow, poor skating but he has been really good so far this year. I was actually surprised he went as high as he did and we'll see how that lack of speed/skating fair in the NHL but so far he's doing what you want to see from a rookie.
