Back to back games, against our nemesis... This time I am glad I will have to miss this game. Hopefully the boys will make me eat crow.

I was there the last time we beat the Caps...I've lived so much of my life since then. It was so long ago.

Sucks we get these guys on the second half of a back to back. I guess we're going Dobby? I don't see that ending well but it probably doesn't matter either way.

Surprise me tonight boys!

if we win this game tonite, I will seriously consider us a threat in the playoffs this year. Im talking conference finals.
This is a big game.
We should have legs seeing how we only played about 20 minutes last nite.

It's the Caps, and it's on my local TV, but part of me says skip this one given their results vs. this Caps team over the more recent years (basically since 2012).

But there is also a part of me that would dearly LOVE to see the Bruins beat that team of nitwits and nuisances from Washington.

Pierre McGuire was saying off camera tonight he thinks right now the Bruins are the second or third best team in the East.

Toronto is catchable for the Atlantic 2 spot and that is where the B's want to be in the end. I doubt Tampa can be caught for Atlantic 1 but their reward for winning the division would be a tough matchup with a Metro team.

Great decision by Cassidy to start Rask against Det and Dobby tonight. Secure the 2pts against the worse team than give the backup the matchup against the team they never beat.

Let’s go Bruins!

We need a good defensive game and use our speed.
The last time I saw caps they looked slow

Well they are tied with the Bruins for the 2nd best record in the league the last 10 games at 8-2.

Anyone else look at this as a statement game? Two of the league's hottest teams going head-to-head, Bruins haven't beaten the Caps in 10 straight going all the way back to that 2014 season.

A win tonight to me is HUGE!

I don't expect a win so any points would be a bonus. Please, no injuries...it seems every time we play the Caps there is an injury. Time for a big game Dobby!! Surprise the Bruins faithful!!

I'm going to watch it with low expectations like I always do with the Caps these last few years. That way, I will be really happy when they win :D

I hate seeing the Capitals on the schedule.

Hopefully it's a close game, and hopefully someone lets Wilson know what's up.

Why? Do you think he's far wrong here? I actually agree with him with the following caveat: when the team plays to its potential he's right. We still have some consistency/60 minute effort issues that are part and parcel of having a really young team up front. Iron that out and I don't see that Pierre is out of line with that comment. Unless you just hate the guy for some other reason

Honestly don't think there is a chance we win this with Khudobin in nets and the way we usually play the caps.

But oh well maybe they surprise us tonight?

I also don't think he is wrong, let alone 'far' wrong. I just can't stand how he constantly plays favorites, and am sick of hearing his voice because of it. Especially when he can't get enough of Crosby

It would be nice if we could score the 1st goal tonight for once against these guys, do that and I think we have a decent shot at winning.
