They need to get Shore back in the lineup for a bit, and he's played there before early on. But no to Steel on the wing; as someone else posted a while back, he is to be one of our future centers, and needs to learn that position well. He's good where he is.

Steel hasn't been all that bad in the middle so far; definitely a better option than Shore at least. He doesn't really get lost in the D-zone and generally makes good reads for supporting down low. Seems like he has an active stick at times as well, so yeah, don't see any reason why he wouldn't be a good 2-way center down the line.

I'd like to see Kase have a good game. He's been underwhelming since coming back in the lineup. He hasn't been playing bad, but there's another level he can hit, hopefully by finishing some chances.

That's a crap call. But Toffoli has a very punchable face, so I can understand the ref making the call.
