Red Wings try to snap 11-game skid in Boston

The Detroit Red Wings' most recent victory in Boston came two months before they drafted Dylan Larkin.
It might not seem like that long ago - it was on April 18, 2014 - but the Red Wings have lost 11 consecutive games at TD Garden, including the playoffs.

They'll look to snap that streak tonight (7 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit Plus).

"We never seem to put it together in Boston," Larkin said. "There's been games where it's been close, but we need to find a way. It's not something you think about but yeah, they're a good team at home, they're a good team in general. They came in here last time, they were a little banged up and we beat them so maybe we can take that confidence going into TD Garden."

The Bruins have scored the Red Wings 53-23 during this stretch and have scored four of more goals in nine of the 11 games while holding Detroit to two or fewer goals in eight games.

"It's a loud building," Larkin said. "They get on a roll at home, their power play seems to always be clicking at home, so we got to stay disciplined and everyone's first shift has to be hard and we have to keep that going all 20 minutes (of the first period)."

I hate the Wings games. Usually boring and bad with ticky tack penalties called on the Bruins while the Wings obstruck and interfere all over the ie.

Bs need to make sure to get the two points against weaker competition. No game in the NHL is a gimme these days so hopefully the Bs don't overlook the Wings. Main thing -- STAY HEALTHY!

Bruins win tonight and i think it will be an easy one
The B's cannot take any team lightly.

I don't think there will be any easy wins for awhile.

No injuries please. Brad and Pasta will get at least one.

Tomorrow I fly to Florida to meet up with my daughter for our yearly B's away game(s).

HERE WE GO BRUINS...HERE WE GO :clap:

I hate Abdelkader...... but I've always found it really really difficult not to respect the Red Wings organization as a whole. I really wish they were a more competitive team right now, I'd much rather deal with their fan base than the others in our division. Your mileage may vary.
