If we lose in regulation Minnesota will be leading the division.
So let's lose in overtime. :sarcasm:

    Doghouse-y.

That third line still looks ugly as hell. Hopefully Lapierre is back on the 4th, where he irrefutably belongs. And Heatley's on the third line now?

You should know better then to wish for things we can't have...

“Jordan is supposed to be a highly skilled player who can move the puck and skate well,” Vigneault said. “His play, and he’s aware of it, even though we have to hold him back from being over-frustrated, he’s having a tough time right now making plays,” Vigneault said. “Maybe he’s not playing with the same type of players he was before. But that’s still no excuse when you have the puck not to make the right play with it.”

At this point we will be lucky if Schroeder remains in the lineup ahead of Ebbett.

Who knew Raymond was leading the team in PPG's.

Time to put him with the Twins on the PP.

Ugh, can Higgins go back to playing C? If that was possible:

    Sedins - Burrows
    Raymond - Shredder - Hansen
    Booth - Higgins - Kassian
    Sestito - Lapierre - Weise

(2nd and 3rd interchangeable in TOI)

The lineup would look a lot better.

Looks like Ballard may be in tonight. Cross your fingers.

Hopefully Schroeder has a good game - even in his current slump with terrible linemates, he's been more effective than Ebbett.

    EDIT: More on Ballard.

This would be understandable if lapierre was lighting it up, but what exactly has he done on the 3rd to make schroeder a target for the hot seat playing on the 4th line? He should look no further then his 3rd line center as his first target for the hot seat, but I know....lapierre has av's trust which excuses horrible play.

And what does av expect a play maker to do when hes centering grinders? Give him more then one shift with booth and kassian, see how it goes, give him an entire game maybe, perhaps a couple like hes given lapierre. Its not like lapierre has anything to show for it centering that line anyway. Then put schroeder in the hot seat or send him down if he performs worse then lapierre, but i dont think he will.

Barker is a disaster. If he has to play a meaningful game at some point this season the team might just give up now.

is it safe to say that Luongo is in the doghouse?

Schneider starts again, and he's looked less than stellar in his last 5 outings. Also, in that article about the player only meeting, no quotes from Luongo and Schnedier was the one talking to media

Feel so bad for Luongo. He needs to be treated better. Just trade him already.

I don't think we will see Luongo in net any time soon. When's the next back to back?
