Sometimes boring is good.

Take Eugene Melnyk, goes the old joke. Take him, please.

His legal troubles are well documented. What adds to them are the little details that keep propping up. Like these answers Melnyk provided in that casino lawsuit against him:

Brilliant game plan.

By strategically peeling away at the description of his physical attributes, he'll eventually be able to prove to the plaintiff casino that ... he was never even there!

And then there's the matter of his private jet.

No worries, he now has that also covered. Borrowing from the same defense strategy as with the casino lawsuit ...

And there are other legal squabbles which go beyond the scope of this space. But, they're out there.

Not coincidentally, Ottawa boasts the lowest attendance in the NHL so far this season with an average per game figure of 11,168:

Now, if this is real ... just what kind of budget are the Sens working with? :sarcasm:

Meantime, good ole boring Geoff is grappling with challenging fan questions such as whether he'll be joining the Biceps Club ...

Habs after 21 games:

- Habs are 10th in the NHL with a point percentage of .619
- With 548 hits so far, Habs are 5th in the NHL in that category
- With 254 giveaways, With 32.5 shots allowed , there's only 8 teams worst than the Habs in both categories
- Over the last 10 games, Habs' PP is at 10.7% and ranked 30 in the NHL (16th on the season)

- Tatar is leading the team with 20 points....that's 3 points more than anybody else.
- Kotkaniemi has not a point yet at the Bell Center this season (7 games)
- Danault has 11 points on the road this season…..only 5 at home.
- Domi and Armia have 2 points each in 8 games in November so far.

- Kotkaniemi only played 15:50 on the PP this season. Weal, Cousins and Armia have at least 33 minutes or more.
- Domi is the most used player on the PP with 57:01, he's also leading in PP point with 6.
- Weber leads the team with 14 shots on goal on the PP
- Danault is leading the team in Shooting% with 18.8%...closely follow by Suzuki with 16.1%

Always good to have a game immediately after a loss like we witnessed last night. I would not hesitate to start Price

I'd like Price to play as well but we do have lots of back to back's coming in the next few weeks. 11 games in 22 nights with 3 back to backs.

If you are going to play Price in the back to back, tonight is the night. Two game break with the Rangers on Saturday, another two game break, then the Bruins on Tuesday. Starting on the 26th against the Bruins, we have 9 games in 16 nights.

Did not watch the game but watched the replay of the goals. We gave our first 100% fluke goal of the season. It was bound to happen we have scored like 10 times more fluky goals than we allowed this season. The law of average will catch up to us.

I bet Sens dress a backup and Habs go with Price. Becuse the goal is to try make the playoffs and no way Clod is failing this goal.

Habs have the 10th best goal differential (+7) and includes the -3 from last night. I value this stat and I look at that a lot through each season. Are we still a middle of the pack team or have we moved to a fringe top 10 team? It's anybodies guess.

I would say we have a top 10 offensive and a top 15 defense. How far we go depends on special teams.

Sens had their back-up play last night (Nilsson). So Andersen likely gets the start tonight. However, both Nilsson and Andersen has played 11 and 12 games and Nilsson has better stats so not sure who is their "back-up"

At first, I thought you're making this stuff up about his height and weight, etc.. which was funny in by itself. Then I continue to read and it's ACTUAL shit he said and it became freakin hilarious.

The "Not Melnyk's Jet" killed me. And he looks more likely to join the Clode Belly Club then become a Bergevin Bicep Bro.

Awsome and hilarious GDT as usual man!

He had a decent game on Saturday. The team played bad in front of him

Kinkaid faced on average 37.5 shots per game in his 4 starts.
Kinkaid is not Price…..have to give him some game with 25-28 shots to give him a chance.

Pretty obvious Nilsson 6-4, .924 29 yrs old is miles ahead of Anderson 3-7, .894 38 yrs old. Another opponent just decided to play their top guy against the other team. Toronto, Wsh even decided to dress their backup at home and their top on the road against the Habs. 7 of the 11 wins against the backup is some nasty stat.
