If Matthews is back that will provide them with an added lift on home ice. Sounds like Foligno traveled to Toronto so he may be back in the lineup. This will be a fun one tonight unless CBJ start slow and are fighting back from 3-4 goals down.

Oh boy, this is gonna be a doozy. Pumped as heck.
This is a ‘prove your worth game’. Can make a huge statement with a W tonight in Toronto.

Go Jackets.

Time to trade this kid. Never going to flourish here. A change of scenery deal like the one just done for Tanner Pearson, or as a part of a bigger deal perhaps.
We used to say the same thing about Savard. It's a bit too soon to say "nope, we're done".

That said, if we really do feel like trading him, I wouldn't mind getting in touch with our "we've got to dump him while he still has value" counterparts w/r/t Kevin Fiala in Nashville.

That's pretty much what I'd feared (that something was up with Milana) but am glad that the subsequent news is good.

I occasionally get to hear comments here and there about some of the congenital heart disease research stuff here at work (the center for same is in the same building I work in, and our center has a few data viz experts so it occasionally comes up in conversation), but obviously folks don't talk about who's being looked at for what. Big no-no.

Somewhat related, my friend is a back pain specialist physician.he said he's usually the last resort person before a major surgery. He's worked with the blue jackets on occasion but is not a hockey fan so doesn't know any names. But he did remember one guy who he said had the worst looking back he's ever seen for a professional athlete as young as he was. I'll bet you that was Horton.

Wanted to make this game badly (but didn't want to shell out hundreds of $$$) as the last few games against the Leafs have been very entertaining, so this one should be also - especially with the way both teams have been playing lately.
Need the CBJ to win this so I don't have to hear about it at work tomorrow, living in Leafland.

Glad to hear the captain is back.

SCREW THE LEAFS. GO JACKETS.

I'll be there Friday, the first time at Nationwide since the game v. NYR that would have broken the league record for win streak (if WSH hadn't kicked our butts right before it). That game was bad. Friday hopefully will be better, or I'll resign myself to never going again, for the sake of the team.

I will move back to CLE and become a Monster's STH. They were like 15-0 when I went during the Calder Cup run. Seriously.
