Remember when we were told by Flames fans that a rookie D in Makar wouldn't be a factor in the series.

Here we are now 20 games into the following season and Makar would be the top scorer for the Flames.

If he can stay away from Tkachuk. The whole hockey world has seen what Cale has been doing lately, and how important he's been for the Avs.

Something tells me Tkachuk is gonna target him physically. Especially if his line is matched up against the MacKinnon line, which Makar usually plays with. Could see a lot of LW vs RD battles.

Just hope Cale knows he's gonna be targeted and doesn't try anything risky. Especially trying to squeeze by hits along the boards.
