Let's begin the show by starting it. The Hawks department has been attempting to fill their #2 center role for a few years now, that's a couple more years than one year. Everyone thought the answer had been found in one Brandon Pirri, but Coach Quenneville wasn't impressed. He must have had a hand in Stan Bowman's decision to keep him in the minors. When asked about this, Coach Q was pretty dismissive.

Yet another twist in a story that won't stop unfolding. It seems that Marcus Kruger may be given the opportunity to be the second line center once again sometime soon. Patrick Sharp might have a declarative comment about this potential opportunity that may arise in the near future or maybe not.
