Looking forward to this one. I've always liked the Canes.

Expect a win as well. But the Wings can't put the Canes on the PP as much as they did against Buffalo. The Canes will make the Wings pay. Interested to see if the same lineup plays. I'd say probably, perhaps Tatar gets in on Saturday. You know, gotta set him up to fail against the Bruins right? Kidding.

Pumped for this one, I don't think Carolina is gong to have a very good year, should mean points for us.

I'm really excited the see the 1st power play unit again. I know it was only one game and they didn't even score a goal, but it's been a while since we seen that type of puck movement. And that's after they scored 3 against Toronto's regular lineup a week ago.

If we lose it will be because their third line overpowered ours

I don't think it will really matter against a team like Carolina.

But looking at the lineup, their 1st line has a LOT of firepower. Two 40 goal scorers and a guy that put up 23 goals in 48 games last year.

On the other hand, that's a fast, fast, fast group of forwards. Plus they're fast.

Faulk is a real good player, hope he makes Team USA for the Olympics. Worth watching if you haven't seen him play a bunch before and hey hopefully I jinxed him by praising him for our contest and he plays awful.

Kinda OT, but Kronwall received 7% of the votes (third place) for dirtiest play in the NHL. The voting was done anonymously by 30 NHL players. Cook was #1 with 30% and Dustin "I am the reason the moon orbits the Earth" Byfugelin was also at 7%.

Babcock was tied with Joel Quenneville as the second smartest coach at 20%. Bylsma was #1 at 26.7%

Link (props to Lady Stanley for posting it in business of hockey)

30 players is a pretty small sample size. 7 percent is like 2 guys.
