Nice GDT! The Canes are my 2nd team, I love their 3rd jerseys.
Looking forward to this one. I've always liked the Canes.
Was kind of hoping with a back to back they would work Tatar into one of these games and was thinking this one.
Oh yay. Another hockey game already.
Expecting a win.
No Tatar again? Thanks Kenny no Nyquist thanks Kenny...
Expect a win as well. But the Wings can't put the Canes on the PP as much as they did against Buffalo. The Canes will make the Wings pay. Interested to see if the same lineup plays. I'd say probably, perhaps Tatar gets in on Saturday. You know, gotta set him up to fail against the Bruins right? Kidding.
Pretty sure those aren't official lines yet.
since no one knows what's up with alfie's groin, i guess we won't know lines until before the game starts.
Pumped for this one, I don't think Carolina is gong to have a very good year, should mean points for us.
Somone please post a tweet saying Tatar is going to play in this game. Pretty please?
Too bad they ruined their homes by making them plain as **** and.
You should be thanking Mike for the Tatar part.
I'm really excited the see the 1st power play unit again. I know it was only one game and they didn't even score a goal, but it's been a while since we seen that type of puck movement. And that's after they scored 3 against Toronto's regular lineup a week ago.
If we lose it will be because their third line overpowered ours
I don't think it will really matter against a team like Carolina.
But looking at the lineup, their 1st line has a LOT of firepower. Two 40 goal scorers and a guy that put up 23 goals in 48 games last year.
Seems to be eluding some people, Tatar is on the roster, Holland isn't the one putting him in the press box.
Man, I just got a bad case of the Who the **** is That Guy looking at the Canes' defense
On the other hand, that's a fast, fast, fast group of forwards. Plus they're fast.
Faulk is a real good player, hope he makes Team USA for the Olympics. Worth watching if you haven't seen him play a bunch before and hey hopefully I jinxed him by praising him for our contest and he plays awful.
Kinda OT, but Kronwall received 7% of the votes (third place) for dirtiest play in the NHL. The voting was done anonymously by 30 NHL players. Cook was #1 with 30% and Dustin "I am the reason the moon orbits the Earth" Byfugelin was also at 7%.
Babcock was tied with Joel Quenneville as the second smartest coach at 20%. Bylsma was #1 at 26.7%
Link (props to Lady Stanley for posting it in business of hockey)
wow ok, get a grip ES
30 players is a pretty small sample size. 7 percent is like 2 guys.
