Players to watch (courtesy of the Flames website):

Temmu Selanne (This season: GOALS: 2 | ASST: 2 | PTS: 4)
In what could be Selanne’s final tour, the Finnish Flash has shown no sign of slowing down in one of hockey’s most storied careers. A 17-time 20-goal scorer over the course of his 663-goal career, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility the 42-year-old hits the plateau one more time despite the shortened season.

Ryan Getzlaf (This season: GOALS: 0 | ASST: 2 | PTS: 2)
After a career-low 11 goals and 57 points last season, Getzlaf will have plenty to prove in what amounts to a contract year for the Ducks captain. The talent is evident in the former Calgary Hitmen forward and the effort will be there from a personal and team perspective for Getzlaf.

Cam Fowler (This Season: GOALS: 0 | ASST: 0 | PTS: 0)
After a surprisingly impressive rookie campaign as an 18-year-old in 2010-11, Fowler’s offensive numbers regressed last season as he moved towards rounding out his game. Without the now-departed Lubomir Visnovsky on the power play, Fowler will once again be counted on to be a point-producer from the back end.

Goaltenders Matchup:
Miikka Kiprusoff (This Season: 0-1-0, 4.00 GAA, ..862 SV%)
Jonas Hiller (This Season: 1-0-0, 3.00 GAA, .897 SV%

More Information Before The Game Today:
- The Flames were 2-1-1 against the Ducks last season
- The Flames are 33-31-7-8 all time against the Ducks
- Ryan Getzlaf should use some rogaine. Seriously.

And finally...

GO :flames GO

I am hoping they tweak the top line a bit..Glenny didn't seem to mesh well with Iggy and Tangs. Id like to see him swapped with Cammy to add some size to the 2nd line and allow GlenX to better play his game and not get caught chasing the puck against 1st line forwards, which he isnt.

Lets put last night behind us though and hope for a better outing tonight.

I really liked the flames tempo in the first period last night, and i mean if we score a goal or two more in the first period i think we win that game. Sven hits the post, begin also.. If we play like that first period last night we have a good chance to beat the ducks. However, i dont think we will so....Ducks win 3-1 Goals by Palmeri, Cogliano, Souray.
Glencross the lone goal for the flames

I'd put Glenx to the RW on the 2nd line. Move Cammy up on C and move Tangauy to LW. However, I wouldn't be too upset to see the same lines as it takes a game to or to get used to a new position.

Hoping for a good effort in all periods!

Who is going to the next player to get a ridiculous nickname after Kerr orgasms in his seat tonight?

Hey guys, hoping for an exciting game, it should be. Our beat writer just tweeted a couple minutes ago that Peter Holland won't be in tonight and Rickard Rakell will be our 4th line center.

@Icemancometh
Boudreau said his plan was to play Peter Holland tonight but wants to keep lineup intact after big win. "Peter's going to get his chance."

I've given up on FOs, just ****ing battle your ass off to gain possession after the loss. The big key to the game will be if our players show up in front of or own net. This pantsy ass way we deal with forwards low in our own end has to stop!

Would also like to see the kids get a shot with iggy.

Maybe our centers can play like linebackers and just rush the opposing centerman on the puck drop.

Another note about last night, I didn't mind Iggy on the pk, hopefully he sees more pk time today..

On second thought, no. No need to put Teemu, Getz and Perry on the PP.
