Big Game Story: This is the first of two meetings between the Los Angeles Kings and New York Islanders in less than a month; the Islanders visit Staples Center on Dec. 7. They haven't faced off since Feb. 11, 2012, when the Islanders won 2-1 in overtime at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Los Angeles and New York have unsettled situations in goal. The Kings are without starter Jonathan Quick, who flew back to L.A. on Wednesday after leaving during overtime of a 3-2 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday with what coach Darryl Sutter said is either hamstring or groin-related. NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER
