Sorry about the bad GDT guys, last minute.
Phoenix is a good team this year I think? This road trip could get ugly.
But this is a measuring stick game for me...believe it or not.
This is a well coached team, playing in their own barn...and playing really well these days.
Going to be a tough one tonight.
Is Phoenix still treated well by the refs? What can we expect tonight?
I'm excited to see how many canucks fans are at the game. 2nd home arena.
Bieksa has a pretty good record against PHX with 3 goals and 14 points in 20 career games. Kesler with 19 points in 28 games is pretty solid as well.
what to expect? Don't know but I put the over/under on Smith dives at 3.5.
Yotes fan here (obviously)...going to the game tonight and very excited for it. Should be a good game between two teams playing very well at the moment.
Nice GDT. Hoping for a win, can't wait to see OEL play.
Also I would like to add that so far you earn the award for classiest fans on HF boards this season. EVERY other GDT this season has been other teams taking jabs at our attendance number, fans, etc. Obviously I don't live under a rock, but there are true fans out here that deserve more respect than that, and you guys are truly classy to this point.
As far as the Mike Smith diving comments...hey, lets call a spade a spade...
I'd be more worried about this game like, last year. We've been putting in solid efforts most nights, so I think we can match the 'Yotes work ethic this year.
I actually like the GDT, good job!
A bit concerned about tonight. Their goalie scores more than ours does Actually it's step 1 of our real test (and likewise a test for the Coyotes too). After tonight we'll both have a better understanding of where our respective teams are at.
I've been happy with Hank and Daniel's consistency this season, seemingly getting a point every game, but I have to admit I've been anxiously waiting for a 3 or 4 point night for them. Those games are fun when they're lighting it up like that.
Right now the Coyotes are allowing a ton of goals so hopefully tonight's the night the Sedins have one of those games.
As much as I'd like to see the Sedins rack up the points, I'd prefer distributed scoring like on Saturday, goals from 1st, 2nd, 3rd lines and a d-man.
But mostly, I'd like a good game and both points in a 2-point game in each of the next 4.
One of these days I have to get down to Phoenix and catch a game.
Yotes are a good team, will be a difficult task to get a W.
If you're flying in from Vancouver and sitting on the glass in Phoenix, it'll be cheaper than sitting on the glass in Vancouver.
Yeah, but once you factor in hotel and food it costs more.
It took two and a half years, but you've finally come around and admitted what really went wrong in 2011.
Depends where you stay...I'm sure if you were really frugal you could save money, or even break even.
I wonder how much it costs to stay overnight at Jobing.com Arena. Maybe $10 per night with free food/drinks and a free jersey.
That's a given. This is Jeremy Jacobson's other team (oops, forgot about the new puppet ownership and their plan to........make money).
As has happened twice recently, the Canucks should a 20 second PP at the end of the 3rd (or OT) to make the boxscore look better.
Sell jersey. Make profit.
I hurl a little inside every time I realize my friend knows him (jacobs).
I think Garrison is going to light it up offensively tonight on the PP. At least a goal and assist tonight.
(for a suite)
It's Phoenix you can probably sleep outside at this time of year.
Coyotes fan here myself. Awesome GDT.
