Would love to see:
Drouin-Suzuki-Anderson
Tatar-Kotkaniemi-Toffoli
Byron-Danault-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Evans-Armia

KK has been getting better and better in the faceoff dot and has chemistry with both Tatar and Toffoli.

Byron/Gallagher have good chemistry as well. Both play fast and pressure Dmen.

Armia rounds out the fourth line, but you can always swap Armia and Byron as I think Armia could play LW.

Weber-Chiarot

:help::help::help::help:

A good coaching staff would have realized by now this duo cannot remain together. I don't know what the solution for Weber's slow-ass skating is, but Chiarot ain't cutting it.
A good GM would’ve found him a partner in the last 5 years too

Gallagher and Toffoli are leading the Habs with 55 shots on goal
Petry and Chiarot are leading the D-man with 40 and 39 shot on goal

Now do you think it's normal for Drouin to have 21 shot on goal so far?
That's less than Edmunsdon, Evans, Lehkonen and Romanov.

That's still better than the pathetic 18 shots on goal from Danault.

No wonder why these 2 combined for one little goal in 16 games.

Drouin couldn't get a SOG with two empty nets lmao

I predict Julien gets canned if we lose this game.

I don’t think so. In fact, we can lose every game this weekday and he’ll still be here because that’s how the Habs roll.

However, if we lose all games plus Saturday coupled with dropping out of the playoff spot, I can see CJ fired as well as a major trade happening and by major I mean major for us with the player leaving and not so much who we get.

That said, with the abomination we saw last night, optics are not going to look good for sure if we lose.

Have to consider Bergevin is soon up for renewal and is out of rope at his point. He's all-in, so if he has any inclination towards self-survival, Julien's leash is probably much shorter than you think.

Two relevant unknowns: Can he get a new coach, or at least at minimum an internal replacement? Molson's expectations towards a possible (**shudder massively**) Bergevin renewal?

It will be Allen and another very good game from him and a win.

If we want to win we play Allen more. But apparently we dont.

That's what I think. It's a dream. MB ain't firing Claudius Julienus. But I'm hoping you're right. I want him gone.

Forget what MB said about this team but Claudius said the same thing. It's a team that can play any style. A speed game, a cycling game, a heavy-hitting or a tight-checking game. So just to prove that point he has them playing game in and game out this passive, collapsing style that he learned in the 70s.
