Fredo was absolutely useless and mostly invisible last night. Weiss made some plays, starting to look a lot more engaged out there. And nothing needs to be said about #71.

Fredo was absolutely useless and mostly invisible last night. Weiss made some plays, starting to look a lot more engaged out there. And nothing needs to be said about #71.

It needs to be said over and over until I don't have to watch him every game.

Wings looked disinterested from the start. Probably had a lot to do with 3 games in 4 nights but this teams inconsistent play is really frustrating. The Jets played fast and physical and the Wings' senior citizens had no interest in matching the Jets effort. Worst game I've seen from Pav and Z in awhile. Cleary seriously has no business being on an NHL roster. Quincey was awful as usual. Thought Almquist played alright. Def still needs work on defense and must add some more weight but he was calm and poised with the puck and moved it well. Kindl's really been struggling on D this year. Weiss has been looking better the past several games, production should hopefully start improving soon. Tootoo staged fight at the start was a joke. Have not been pleased with Andersson's play. To often a step behind his defensive assignment and just too soft, not nearly hard enough to play against.

Upon reflection 3 games in 4 nights seems to be the thing that kills the Wings. Fortunately the Stars will be on the tail end of 3 games in 5 nights.
