One positive, only one: this team doesn’t give up the way last year’s team seemed to fold like chairs.
The next coach has something to work with.

In the 3rd Hynes is forced to open it up. That’s the way this team should always olayOne positive, only one: this team doesn’t give up the way last year’s team seemed to fold like chairs.

Ha, I said 14-6. So different when you are playing against a team that is sitting back with a lead.Preds with 13 SOG in period 3 versus 6 for DRW.
Sounds like a plan to me.Would it not be plausible to fire Hynes and let Karl Taylor be interim and try and win the job? Hell, the Athletic (hi Adam) has him as a possible HC for the Kraken.

That's what I would do. I'd also play the kids too.Would it not be plausible to fire Hynes and let Karl Taylor be interim and try and win the job? Hell, the Athletic (hi Adam) has him as a possible HC for the Kraken.
Fortunately it was a speculative article that mentioned every coach in the world. If I'm Taylor I think of take the Kraken job over this one...
Anyone else embracing the tank? Anyone?
Nope to tanking here. I just think it's a fan fallacy. But yep to firing the coach, for starters. Then it's all on the GM if that doesn't happen.Anyone else embracing the tank? Anyone?
Don't want to tank, want a new coach and to cut out some of the dead weight for the youngsters.Anyone else embracing the tank? Anyone?

If you want to tank you just keep on with what you have lolThat's what I mean. Tank has so many conotations

That's what we do best, although sadly, our coach who was supposed to be fired 3 seasons ago, still has not.Anyone else embracing the tank? Anyone?
Like I said, if you want to tank the season you keep the coach you have. You are literally battling Detroit for the bottom of the division, you can't tank much more than you already are.For me Tank is Tanking the season. This team needs a new coach and maybe give up the season.
Are you kidding? This f***ing blows. I'd rather perpetually run the lower-end playoff team that occasionally makes noise treadmill than several years of this type of hockey for a team that might eventually be better than some of the ones we had.Anyone else embracing the tank? Anyone?
We're maybe competitive with Detroit and Chicago. Columbus is turning their bus around a bit. Scoreboard wise, we looked like we hung with Florida, but I don't think we're really all that competitive with them having watched the games. We got smoked by the other three teams—I suspect we'll go 0-8 against Tampa—and it will take something huge changing to not have a losing record against them all.I'm seeing the Preds at Top 5 pick (% wise), and 4 wind from the playoffs. I have seen this team go from these depths to the finals but they cant beat Dallas nor TB. They are competitive to Detroit. They should be a hell of a lot better.
