Big Game Story: It's the second of three meeting this season. On Oct. 17 Anze Kopitar of the Los Angeles Kings scored the only goal in a shootout, giving the Kings a 2-1 win against the Nashville Predators in Nashville. The teams will play a final time Dec. 28 in Nashville. The Kings haven't been the most prolific offensive team, and now will have to make due without one of their top goal-scorers, Jeff Carter. Updated ... but according to JR's (LA King Insider) Tweet "Lines: 74-11-14, 17-10-73, 23-28-22, 13-57/24-71/21; 6-8, 44-26, 33-2, 27. Some possibilities on that fourth line, apparently."

imo he played better then nolan and should have been 3rd line rw to start the season. not saying nolan is playing bad now but preseason was a coin flip and i like toffoli upside alot more then nolan .

Nolan probably had the best preseason ever(Sutter even said so), some of you guys have no idea what you are talking about.

I am amazed Nolan has been scratched at all...He has been excellent.

nolan lost his regualar spot at the end of last season. He was a healthy scratch alot in the playoffs. He played awful and was in sutter doghouse. Toffoli is a player with alot more offensive upside. Something the kings need is more goals. I would rather have toffoli in and score a few more goals then have nolan in. The kings weekness if we have one is a lack of offense from the bottom 6 something toffoli has the ability to cure. Nolan may have "won his job back" in preseason but i think if toffoli was in we woul have scored a few more goals and that would have been a few more wins for the kings.

Lewis is just a black hole man, that guy needs to sit a game. I know he works hard...But you can't go an NHL career not scoring (AT ALL)

Lewis has 37 points in 237 GP.....That is Defensive D men territory.

I wonder if Lewis has ever thought of playing as a Defender.

the way i saw it preseason and feel free to go look make sure i post it serveral times. was
frattin kopitar williams
brown richards carter
clifford stoll toffoli
king/carcillio fraser lewis
So techincally speaking toffoli was taking lewis off the 3rd line moving lewis to 4th bumping nolan to the bench. I feel and still do that toffoli stoll and clifford would be a good 3 line helping out offensively.
