Bishop will more than likely draw the start against us tonight since Khudobin lost in OT last night to the Bruins.

Which is absolutely bad news off the bat seeing that Bishop has the greatest stats against us for a goalie with 10+ career starts vs the CBJ.

10 career games:

17 goals against.
1.74 GAA.
0.940 save percentage.

Torts is rolling with the flinging mud at the wall until is sticks approach

Torts or the Naysaying Chicken Little's of HFCBJ?? "Unsustainability" for 3 years in a row??

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Same goes for the entire team/organization, it seems.

It seems to me that most people would only be "happy" or "accept" the team, if they were top 3-5 league-wide in every statistical category, "on paper" and "in calculator". The "problem" is that there is quite literally NOTHING realistic that any of the players, coaching staff, or front office could do to make any of you f***s be happy, because you people will never see them as good as or better than the "top teams" in the league or the Panthers. And to you, that's the only acceptable option. Any significant move made that could/would/WILL possibly improve the team would be blasted as a bad move, by these same people, either immediately or with hindsight.

Perfect examples are all of the biggest moves the "team" has made in recent time or are "about" to make.

And, THEN when things do go well (if anybody has paid any attention the ENTIRE LAST 2 YEARS) people just claim all the good is unsustainable.

I apologize for the tone.

I think part of the problem here is that you're not remembering folks who don't buy into Everything Is Doomed initially, but count them as having been Part Of The Problem All Along when concerns start getting expressed. Because there's legit concerns here, and just because some folks are persistently intellectually dishonest in discussing them doesn't mean that any discussion of same becomes dishonest.

Dude is such a crap coach, Sedlak in Bjorkstrand out. So now, Milano, Bjorkstrand, young guys that dont play a check first game are benched. Who can we recall from Cleveland that can check, who needs offensive players. Yet, Wennberg plays...

Just updated the lines per NHL.com. See first post if you're interested.

Jenner centering 2nd line? Yikes!

Wennberg on 4th line between Sedlak & Duclair.

Why is Duclair getting 10 minutes per night, now relagated to 4th line, guy has been one of our best players. Just absolutely baffling... Duclair has 5 g 3 assist in 14 games, 6th leading scorer on the team.

None of this matters. Torts will change the lines 2 shifts in, then bitch about not having any consistency. (And I LIKE Torts as our coach)

Just because your the team's 6th leading scorer and second among forwards not on the top line, and 1st or 2nd in points per 60 minutes, what makes you think that entitles him to be play in the top 3 lines? After all, we've got other scoring options like Nash, Sedlak, and BeerMan. And You've got to play more consistent - like the Captain.

Actually Torts should consider the revolutionary idea of 2 forwards and 3 on d. May as well just grind away. No need to entertain the fans or try to develop players.....Grind away! I really hope now that Sonny and Bjork both go and turn into good scoring players somewhere. After Bread leaves we should be down to about 1 goal per game. Kind of like watching soccer
