This game is going to be crazy imo. I believe Germany will give Canada everything they can handle tomorrow. They will no be settling for 1 win.
Canada will also be desperate for a win.

Germans have a great powerplay, a stud Dman and 4 guys that will be first rounders in about 5 months
I think Germany will continue showing their quality but, amazingly, the loss of 2 of their best players will allow others to step up.

Canada's probably unleashing their rage on Germany, guess I'll be happy if they boys keep the score low and battle hard.

If Canada comes out of the gate slowly here and plays poorly, then that rests solely on the shoulders of the coaching staff, and specifically the Head Coach, who will then be the biggest disappointment in this tournament as far as I am concerned. more so than any of the players.

So, I expect a strong finish here in the next 2. a win in the 1/4 final...and then in the semies it can go either way. We shall see.

I'll take a 5-1 W for the boys wearing the Maple Leaf.

A day at work before the New Year's Eve celebration, but shall do my best to see a bit of this Stützle kid. He looks like the real deal.

Though I do expect Canada to come out like they were fired out of a cannon, this game may be won or lost based on discipline. Both teams seem to have lethal powerplays. No surprise for Canada, but pretty cool to see Germany throwing that puck around on a string. It’s a very dynamic looking setup featuring lots of player movement. It will be a handful.
