If the CBJ isn't motivated by losing to a last place team that beats you, scores twice on your power play and still fires their coach the next day I don't know what could possibly motivate you. They'd better look good tonight.

Imagine how differently they'd feel if they had WON the game and he got fired the next day.

I can tell you one thing we won’t be raising any time soon (more than likely), a Stanley cup banner in NWA.

I won't mind if Sherwood scores all goals for the Ducks, as long as the Jackets have one more.

Cool story: a former junior Jacket will be playing against us tonight for the first time, Kiefer Sherwood (brother of CBJ prospect Kole Sherwood). Really hope he gets to be on the ice for the opening faceoff

No idea what to expect; that's terribly sad. Wish NHL players had an intrinsic motivation to do well.

I predict that he’ll save 0 of 0 shots and post a shutout.

Our captain’s hairline is receding faster and harder than our season.

This ice seems bigger for some reason. Maybe it's the angle

Ducks gameplan: Don't worry about penalties, the Jackets PP is bad

Jody Shelly responding to this Jackets PP advantage early in the game: “yeah, Larson is going to sit!”

.... damn, Jody. Got my hopes up.
