So is Armia playing? Overall he is more useful then Perry. I would sit Perry, but put him back after a bad effort based on merit.

That’s an understatement. He's simply flat out better in every aspect.

Seasons 18-21
Perry 95gp 12+22=34
0.36 ppg
powerplay goals/60 0.93

Armia 120gp 31+27=58
0.48 ppg
powerplay goals/60 1.39

Rather keep in Perry and 'rest' Byron.
Drouin - Suzuki - Anderson
Tatar - Danault - Gallagher
Toffoli - Kotkaniemi - Perry/Armia
Lehkonen - Evans - Perry/Armia

If they want to take out Perry, I'd go with:
Drouin - Suzuki - Anderson
Tatar - Kotkaniemi - Toffoli
Lehkonen - Danault - Gallagher
Byron - Evans - Armia

Gotta think there a little bit of pressure on Price going into tomorrow. Another average performance, followed by a another strong performance by Allen on Thursday...could make things interesting.

I'd still have Price on a short leash against the Leafs if he starts. If he gives up a couple of easy goals early I'd get him out quickly.

Luckily, the coaching staff does not feel the same way.
Price isnt losing the "#1" any time soon
Despite some "shaky" games , this goalie rotation was always going to be this way.

Perry to 1st unit? A hint that he will stay in the lineup?
Weber to 2nd unit? No more wasted bombs on the 1st unit?
KK (2nd unit) moved from left side to net front. Too many blocked shots/turnovers?

So now Weber can cripple KK?

Don't you want a PF to play by the net, a la Anderson.....

CJ said that KK has been forcing things lately. Wants him to simplify his game. This is one way to help with that. This takes much of the decision making away from KK as he’s no longer on the 1/2 wall.

KK is a big body so it might work.

As much as I like a good scrap, poor Gally's hands have been shattered so many times by Weber shots I don't know how many hits to the helmet they'd last lol.

Gallagher has robot hands that were implanted because of the Weber-inflicted injuries. How else can his shot have actually improved after breaking every bone in both hands?

Yeah being sent to the infirmary with busted bones tends to simplify things a whole lot.

Moving Kotkaniemi in front of the net seems like poor use of his talents. As others mentioned, it's also a genuine threat to him with Weber on the same unit.

Also just noticed Romanov not on either unit :(

Clod is doing the coaching. Nothing to see here. Move along.

God, this powerplay fking needs Cole Caufield yesterday
It does need a sniper indeed... or two. I thought Johnny Droo-ehn was that elite talent we were all looking for but he somehow just continues to suck even with much improved linemates. Habs need a Kovalev and a Markov.
