Zegras is probably the best power play player in the entire organization right now after Getzlaf, Shattenkirk was brought in to do one thing and if he can't even do that it's a waste of resources

Well we have 11 points in 12 games. I think that’s about exactly where I expected us to be this year.

I'm pretty sure the powerplay is ran by one of the assistants. I'm not sure what kind of influence Eakins has over it.

So far Shattenkirk has had one positive play the entre season (the Deslauriers goal against the Wild). I honestly can't think of another.
I honestly would rather have any of the other Ducks dmen out there to play the point.

The personnel too? That’s the main issue. 2 defensemen being on the ice is a serious wtf move there. I don’t think there are many teams other than us that would do thah

That I get, he might've even been third but Rakell's the best offensive player on the team and Comtois is probably better in the shootout.

Trying to be positive, I think Terry and Comtois were the two best Ducks. That's a great sign if you are a Ducks fan.

The Kids do show up once in a while. That's the problem. We get a glimpse, but that's it. Let's hope the kids continue to chip in.
What is good about this game is that Grant looks good with Rico and Terry. Which mean we can put Getz back together again with Comtois and Rakell. lol

Ultimately, though, you're probably right. It stops at Eakins regardless, he's not in the dark here, and going with 2 defensemen instead of 1 in that situation is probably something he would heavily weigh in on if not outright decide.
