#Flames puck-stopping plan for two-game trip — Mike Smith faces Maple Leafs, David Rittich starts against Sabres.

Who are the flames primary shut-down players? Do they have anyone that can keep up with Eichels line? I literally no nothing of their roster.

Calgary played last night, so that's a plus. But we always seemed to do poorly against Peters' Hurricanes. They better be ready for a team that's going to hound the puck.

I'm guessing the Eichel line will be seeing a lot of Giordano/Brodie as well

Since they're both lefties, I wonder which side does Brodie play on that pairing? Because he's very exploitable. I hope the LW side since that seems to be the wing Jack prefers to attack the net from.

ERod goes home to see the birth of his first child. Promptly loses spot in the lineup.

Sobotka misses games 2 and 3, both Sabres wins. Promptly gets lineup spot back when ready to return.

In case you are wondering who Housley believes is more integral to the team's success.

Huh? The last game was well-played, with the exception of a horrible second period.

The second period, and parts of the first, were extremely bad. That’s not a red flag usually or for a decent team. But this Sabres team has shown that they are liable to play like that for the next 4-5 games.

I want to not see that happen.
