This should be a pretty interesting game. Both teams with similar records and statistics. Carolina leads the league in shots for per game with 41 while only giving up 24 per game. Arizona close behind them in both catagories.

The PIT/WSH back to back will be brutal. 22 hours between game start times. Looks like a 2 win road trip will be a success. I'm just hoping the stellar defense holds up and we don't crumble if a team scores 3 goals against us.

Only schedule help we get this month is Boston playing Dallas the night before we play them.

In the first 10 games of the month, starting with the Hurricanes, I think we are in good shape if we can get 11 points (4-3-3) or better out of it. 6-3-4 for the month or better (not counting STL game), and we are in very good shape.

Oh yea! I'm so excited for this month. Love seeing some hard hockey and finding out how the Yotes are stacking up/show the rest of the league what's up.

All starts tonight against Carolina though... Gonna be a hard game! As someone said, they've been like us in the East so far this year. Yotes gotta bring it for sure tonight and capitalize on their chances.

Hard to say, but I think teams took Carolina lightly in this early part of the season after last year. Not certain that teams are taking us lightly after our performance in the back-half of the year last year, so I think we come out strong. 4-2 victory.

The last 3 weeks Carolina has gone 2-5-0. In the same period the Coyotes are 5-2-0. I'm almost starting to EXPECT wins from our team now.

Scooping up Kuemper was smart given how there's multiple teams now completely short even a good backup.
