Laval has lost many reliable vets in the off season.

Ouellet, Belpedio, Paquette-Bisson on D
Dea, Vejdemo, Roy, Dauphin, upfront

Young talent level is low. RHP, Ylonen, Mysak are nothing special
Norlinder, Barron, Beaudin have lots to work on.

Wow that was BAD. We really don't have much (up front) on the farm currently. We look like smurfs compared to Leigh Valley.
How do we stack up on the smurfitude scale in the AHL — are we considered to be one of the smallest teams?

I mean RHP, Martel, Simoneau, and Bourque are all 5'9 or smaller. Abbandonato & Gignac are 5'10.

The D is physically soft too. Fairbrother, Bisson & Belpedio definitely brought some pepper to the team.

Also lost toughness in Pezz & Baddock. Not sure who's running Laval as GM, but really don't like what they did this summer.

Calling up Simoneau would probably be a great organizational statement!
