I agree. Give him some time, like most of the rest of the team has been given, to get himself up to speed and focused. The Kings won the Cup with a big, strong, reasonably good skating group of forwards who would forecheck the heck out of the opponent. Bring back the old line combinations (sit out Gagne and Richardson).

I am sure Lombardi has a mandate from AEG, "Not making the playoff's is unacceptable". AEG is spending a lot of money, they are going to want playoff revenue.

Doesn't mean Lombardi or Sutter would lose their job. But AEG would want someone fired or someone from the roster gone (high salary).

Halak back in net, revenge factor, Blues are rested, Kings spent a lot of energy yesterday and aren't scoring. If the Blues score an early one, or two, like the Wings did, they could just grind the Kings down the rest of the way.

I'd say everything points toward the Blues, which is why the Kings will win. Blues by 3 or 4, or the Kings win close.
