Yeah on that note Dallas does look good. Bishop being back in his old form--which looks to be the case--is huge for them. Long way to go, but Dallas fans should be hyped, they have a solid coach and guy between the pipes who will be holding it down.

It really was a big win. Dallas is going to be a very strong team this year and beating them in such a thriller was beautiful.

That being said, we did win it with hearth. There were so many shaky passes and bad plays. I expect the second game of the season against Arizona to look completely different. I expect we play better together but with a bit less effort.

Sabres fan checking in, and doing so in peace. A couple of things...

1. Congrats on your first win.
2. Whoever is running the Knights Twitter feed needs a raise and/or a promotion in the WORST way. They know their hockey, and they have no fear of trolling other teams(so far, Pittsburgh....San Jose...and now Dallas have felt it). There are more than a few Sabres fans who have posted messages of thanks. I quoted that tweet and said "Thanks for having our back, Vegas. #VegasStrong ".

Awesome game. Some quick thoughts:

1- Offense could really have used Shipachyov. But I digress.

2- Garisson still has game! Was noticeable in a good way all night. Equally as good at his job as Neal and MAF were at theirs. Outlet passes, holding the line, blocking shots. He did it all, and was one of the best players on the ice for Vegas.

3- Girard Gallant is a fantastic coach.

4- Perron and Smith are legit top 6 wingers, and will be real contributors this season.
