I've been banging the get Benning out of the lineup for a while now and for some reason there are still people here who think he's good because he got 20 points last year. Guy is a trainwreck in his own end ALWAYS the guy is incapable of receiving a pass cleanly and making a good out let pass its always bobble bobble throw it of the glass and have it kept in for a repeat performance.

I've been done with Benning for a long while now.
To be fair to him, he shouldn't be singled out in this game for poor performance including his partner.

They are right. Strome and Puljujarvi each got one in the final minute of the second to bring the total to five.

Thanks. How weird was it that the GDT gets closed, and there was none open. The board wasn't even showing the old thread as closed and still isn't. Weird things about this board since the changeover.


Anyway as others mentioned that period was the Devils clean and jerking the Oilers right off the ice.

Vatanen and Green are better, by miles, than any D we have.

Devils are far faster than the Oilers and beating us to every puck and winning puck battles.

We are just no matching intensity and pace and nobody is.

This game only looks even when we are on the PP.

It is frankly amazing, and a blessing its only 3-1.

The Oilers are still in this game if Devils don't have 60mins in them.
