Apparently, VGK did negotiate deal with Perron, but he was looking for term and got an additional year from St Louis (where he started his career.)

God he looked awful on that second goal Boston scored. Bad giveaway and looks lost the whole way chasing the puck until its in his net. The words of GMGM must have hurt when he talked about why changes had to be made, but those deficiencies were there for the world to see out there tonight.
