Rod was saying he expects Rask to produce right away because he is a smart player and those types aren’t as incumbered as much by injury or missing time. Rod expects to put him in the top-9 ASAP and Rask gives them options to mix lines finally.

Rod said people have asked him why he hasn’t switched lines and he is like “what can I even do with these guys?” but Rask fixes that as a C.

Sounds like Rask was a big part of his game plan going into the year.
