I think it’s more about the state clearing them and then do they need practice. He maybe waiting to see how they feel after the morning skate

How do we not know about the covid players by now? Is this on Lavi picking who plays tonight?
Because there are protocols in place and the results of the tests to reinstate them either aren’t done or aren’t released yet?

Remember they said a minimum of four games too which to me means there was a possibility that testing and everything necessary to reinstate them may not be done in time to get them back after the fourth game.

Those Lavy comments were from yesterday. I would expect that they hear today if any are cleared to play and then after that if any of them are activated. These guys havent skated in a while.

Pastrnak expected to make his season debut tonight.

Ovechkin and Orlov are in, Kuznetsov and Samsonov are not.

No Schultz and Eller is skating in a non-contact jersey.

Nice
If Samsonov has Covid and Kuzy got it from him, imagine what catastroph we could have if we didnt isolate these two with the other two antibodies positive guys really early. All our team could be positive by now.
