I saw the same thing!Fairly certain my lip read had Spurgeon saying "Goaldy" to Boldy with a chuckle.
He probably didn't have a problem with a nothing hit.Stupid fight. Soucy too chickenshit to fight for himself? Good hit and compete level from Shaw
Then Yanni shouldn't have either. It's just a dumb "fight"He probably didn't have a problem with a nothing hit.
The Wild now have 95 points. How close is Wild to clinch ATM?
So the magic number is 3 wins. The Wild now have 95 points.
The two teams with a chance to sneak in:
Nashville's max possible points are 100.
Calgary's max possible points are 97.
Those are if Nashville wins all 10 and Calgary wins all 8.
Nash has Boston tomorrow, Calgary has LA, its all but assured at this point. So the magic number is 3 wins.
Noone seems to call the game anymore. Just constant rambling drivil, ignoring the actual play. This ESPN crew is unbelievable. They talk over the play constantly.
They're pretty clearly going to squeeze Addison on his contract (probably not more than $1.5M), and the bringing back Duhaime, Shaw, a 13th forward and 7th defenseman probably isn't going to be any more than $3.5M total which will leave us around $10M for Johansson + Gustavsson + Gaudreau if Rossi is plugged in somewhere as well. I don't think that an average of $3M for each is too out of line for those 3.Happy for Boldy who finally found some chemistry with his linemates. Just have to hope that the Wild can re-sign Johansson, problem is he's playing so well that other teams could offer more than the Wild can afford.
No, Soucy is probably too embarrassed to go after a guy who is 9” shorter than him. The whole thing was stupid. Gourde is too good of a player to fight Shaw, and it proved nothing. They’ll probably feel pretty stupid once they look at the replay.Stupid fight. Soucy too chickenshit to fight for himself? Good hit and compete level from Shaw
@Digitalbooya twiddling his thumbs, smiling creepily, villainous laugh "I did it, I created a MONSTERRR!"
Agreed. He had a miserable (that an understatement) year. But the last month or two he's looked fantastic.Extra thought on this game, Hartman has looked great lately, even without Kap, he has been trying moves and IMO, been the best player on that line by a long shot. He has his shot back in form and his stickhandling is really coming around from the start of the year. Having the good version of Ryan Hartman is an overlooked piece of the puzzle if the Wild are to be successful in the playoffs.
Ehh…keeps him humble.A very good game. I only wish Fleury had his shutout.
Amazing that he can so look so good, and so bad, all in the same year. His shot, when he’s on, is really good.Agreed. He had a miserable (that an understatement) year. But the last month or two he's looked fantastic.
