Tell you what Evason is clueless. Why not just give Dumba 30 minutes a night and see if the result is any better. Dumba should get no more than 18 minutes the way he has played. Why not try some more no look back hand passes? Seriously Dean, Have you not ever heard of the hazards of this play? Gawd Awful, deer in the head lights approach tells me that he thinks he has done a good job already. No need to do more I guess.

So all the other d to d reversals he did before Thomas had a good read and play on it, were those issues? My lord he is nowhere near as bad as you’re making it out to be.

Letting Dumba take 2 minute shifts without consequence? Sorry but he is in way over his head as the playoffs will exhibit.

When has he taken a two minute shift. We already cleared the air on this our entire top four is pretty equal in shifts and playing time. Get off your high horse, lately a few mishaps of his have been bad, we’re you bashing spurgeon early in the season when all he did was suck and turn it over? How about his shorty that he allowed? That’s not bad? Can we get past the nit picking drama just because dumba “makes sense” to expose to the kracken?

Number in the 23 minutes or greater is too much ice for that bozo. His coach his a fool for letting it continue. It won't work in the playoffs. here is what is happening with him. He sees himself contributing on offense and yeah everyone likes to score. Thing is he is often out of gas/late into his shift when he attempts offense and winds up getting caught on the ice. The guy is selfish for the glory and he is not a smart player. Not any clue understanding how his selfishness leads to shorter shifts for the other d. Coach has let it go on far too long.

Dumba's longest shift from this game was 1:48
Spurgeon 1:46
Suter 1:46
Brodin 1:58

THat is way too long. Yes it is a problem for the entire d save the third pair. Which might explain the third pairs exemplary plus minus.

Soucy's longest shift from that game was 2:25. Same for Cole.

You need to find a new tree to bark up.

Those shifts were probably due to a late change by Brodin and Dumba and would be a rarity. I remember that shift and it was all due to being hemmed in the second period where changes are of the upmost importance. It was probably the only time you see the third unit get caught like that but with the others, its nightly part of their game. Coaching 101 is 45 second shifts unless you are friggin Bobby Orr.

I have serious doubts concerning your memory. That shift occurred halfway through the 3rd period. You do understand that there are receipts for all the bullshit you're trying to push?
