Love the ability to win with B games. Hopeful we show that we have the capability of some consistent stretches of A games.

That being said, assuming above average goal tending, our defensive core allows us to make other teams play B and C games often allowing us to win more non A games

Couldn’t watch the game only followed on Twitter. What did the Talbot injury look like? Groin and long term?

Was kind of hard to determine honestly. Showed a puck catching him in the groin area, but don’t think that caused it. The replays just showed him moving somewhat gingerly, but I never saw the definitive moment where he got hurt. It’s definitely a lower body injury though.

Nothing really stood out about when he went down. He finished off the period just fine. Came out in the 2nd took a skate before puck drop and took himself out.

It could be a nothing type of thing where he just tightened up in the intermission. Or it could be something and he was running on adrenaline to get him through the 1st. Wait and see what the doc says I guess.

Kahkonen could easily be starter. AHL goalie of year last season and 920sv% thru 7 nhl games. May all ready be better than Talbot.

Feels like the Wild had no business winning this game because half of it felt like an endless PK. Regardless, they gutted out a win against a veteran team and I'll take it.

Greenway was an absolute grinder tonight, as was Ian Cole. Love to see Parise do what he does best in rebounding and, thank God, Fiala got off the schneid.

Kaapo was solid, but the Wild were relentless in the slot. So many Sharks chances were broken up deep in the middle of the defensive zone.

Wild had 24 blocked shots last night. Huge.

Sharks were getting out of their zone way to easy last night. Wild need to do a better job when the right play is a to get the puck deep, of having a guy hit the blueline with speed to pressure.

Goaltending has been very good for 5 games with maybe two soft goals. Dubnyk alone averaged about one momentum killing soft goal a game.

I hope they keep Dumba paired with Brodin and Suter with Spurgeon.

Suter - Spurgeon & Brodin - Dumba is still the way to go.

Soucy-Cole could make up an elite third pair. Both were great tonight

Bonino, Bjugstad & Mojo play with speed. That alone makes them an upgrade over Koivu/Staal IMO. We play with so much more pace than years past, even if we are a bit sloppy.

Kaprizov is clearly adjusting still but he needs to get a look on a line opposite Greenway with JEE at C. That line would be a handful.
